ABOUT
Ōphélia Fine Art Photography was founded with a higher purpose in mind, one that reflects the Greek origins of its name: help, aid, or benefit.
We realise this purpose in a simple yet meaningful way. While half the proceeds of each sale go directly to the artist, half of the gallery’s share is donated to carefully selected charitable causes. These include Conservation International, which works to protect nature, and the Champalimaud Foundation, a leader in cancer research.
Ōphélia supports organisations that deliver tangible societal benefits, with a particular emphasis on environmental and human health.
The gallery was founded by Philipp A. G. Meyer-Schmeling, a lifelong conservationist and CEO of Noa Technologies, and reflects his core values, his deep passion for fine art photography, and his desire to contribute meaningfully to the world.
Ōphélia works with some of the world’s finest photographers, both established names and rising talent. Our curation is deliberately selective, ensuring that every image we present meets the highest standards of artistic quality and contributes to the greatest possible impact for the causes we support.
